On this show is Swedish journalist, writer and activist, Kajsa Ekis Ekman. She is the author of several works about the financial crisis, women’s rights and Marxism including ‘Being and Being Bought – Prostitution, Surrogacy and the Split Self’. She writes for the major newspaper in Sweden called “Today’s News” and is a columnist at the leftwing daily ETC and is a member of the editing collective of the anarchist magazine ‘Brand’ in English translates as ‘Fire’ (published since 1898).

She is public speaker and was one of the key note speakers at the 2014 ‘Festival of dangerous ideas’ and has delivered a Ted talk on capitalism. She has founded the networks, Feminists Against Surrogacy and the climate action group, Klimax.

Carrie Reichardt is a contemporary artist, who works from a mosaic-covered studio in London. A member of the Craftivism movement, she uses murals, ceramics, screen-printing and graphic design in her work. She is a dedicated advocate of the movement and curated one of the few exclusively Craftivist exhibitions in the UK. She talks about the ‘Disobedient Objects’ exhibition at the V&A, Angola 3 and much more!

Blek Le Rat is a French street Artist known as the father of stencil graffiti. He has earned this title through years of spray painting unforgettable figures on walls across the globe. In the early 80’s he became one of the first street Artists in Paris, known for his iconic rat stencils. His stencil technique has since been adopted by some of the biggest names in graffiti and street art today.
